September 7, 2008... Jenilee & Jeff
My third and final wedding of the weekend was a big one for me. As most of my past clients and friends know, Jenilee is my assistant and over the time that I have known her, she has become one of my closest friends. I have been looking forward to Jenilee's wedding all year so I was feeling everything from excited to nervous to emotional. It was also an amazing experience as she and Jeff were getting married atop Mt. Washington, and it could not have been more beautiful. - insert deep breath here as I am already a bit teary as I write this - Jenilee looked absolutely stunning in her dress and I freely admit I cried as she walked down the aisle with her dad. I have seen many bride's take that same walk but it is so special when that person is someone you admire and cherish as a friend. Jenilee and Jeff exchanged their vows under the sun and overlooking the beautiful mountains. It was perfect. We then did a few formals by the lodge before heading up the chair lift to the top of the mountain for a few more shots. It was quite the ride up and at times my husband Steve needed to say a few calming words as I gripped the safety bar for dear life as I am not a huge fan of open heights (as Jenilee well knows) but the trip was so worth it and so were they. I could go on and on about how blessed I feel that they chose me to capture their special day, but this blog is supposed to feature photos, not my ramblings, so here are a few favourites and their slideshow. I love you both Jenilee and Jeff! Congratulations again!!
Me and the happy bride!
