I was really excited about Lisa and Florin's wedding and they did not disappoint! Even though the weather was beyond uncooperative (it is March in Vancouver after all) these two could not stop smiling and were just so overjoyed that their big day had finally arrived. Lisa was calm and cool all morning and looked absolutely stunning in her amazing gown. I am a big fan of almost any gorgeous wedding dress but Lisa's was to die for and it suited her perfectly. Once the girls were all ready Florin then arrived for the "first look" of his bride-to-be. Due to the crazy rain we had to keep it indoors (who knew kitchens could have so many purposes) BUT it was still fabulous seeing how Florin reacted when he saw his bride. I truly think she took his breath away. Everyone then hopped into the truck and we zoomed off to New Westminster for some fun formals prior to the ceremony. I LOVE New West for photos! Not only is so much of the area under cover but it has an industrial look that I just adore and was exactly what this modern couple was hoping for. It was then off to the church for the touching ceremony before making the trip to Minter Gardens with the guests for the fun-filled reception. It was a great day and I truly wish Lisa and Florin the best for the future!
The wedding season has officially begun for me and what a way to start! Lindsay and Andre's wedding was the perfect combination of love, laughter, friends and family. Our day began with the girls as they prepared Lindsay for her walk down the aisle. Lindsay looked absolutely stunning in her gown and was a mixture of nerves and excitement. The ceremony was personal, touching and very emotional as these two amazing people were joined as husband and wife in the church they both value and cherish. After some family photos the wedding party hopped on their limo-bus and we all headed to Deer Lake Park for the fun formals session. The entire wedding party was a blast to work with and definitely kept me on my toes all day! With a wedding party of 20 it was a party in itself! Lindsay and Andre are by far two of the sweetest and most generous people and I felt so lucky to be a part of their big day. I wish them the best of luck for the future and know they will have the time of their lives in the Dominican for their romantic honeymoon.

What a treat it was to see Angela and Jordan again! I photographed their wedding back in the summer of 07 and was so excited when they contacted me to tell me that they were expecting their first baby in just a few short weeks! Angela looks amazing with her round belly and Jordan was all smiles the entire session. We had a ton of fun and I cannot wait to meet their new little one. I love so many images from their session so am posting a lot but I figured the parents-to-be wouldn't mind. ;)
